Internship with the police

We offer school students from NRW a varied one-week internship in almost all police authorities to provide career guidance.

During the internship, you will look over the shoulders of police officers at work and get to know the main areas of the police force.
You can find out first-hand what police work involves and whether the requirements match your expectations. The aim is to introduce you to a profession that requires the ability to work in a team and a high level of social skills. In many conversations with police officers, you will have the opportunity to gain an impression of the police job description.

Pupils from schools in the area of the respective local police authority can apply from year 9 onwards.
