The NRW police force offers university graduates who have passed the second state examination in law or the second examination (state examination) for the higher general administrative service direct entry into the higher police enforcement service as a police councillor.
As a direct entrant, your future area of work will be in one of the core police areas of emergency response/operations, crime control, road safety work and central tasks. As a manager in the police enforcement service, you will primarily work strategically and conceptually.
We will only be able to inform you of your specific assignment/first function and your associated place of work shortly before the end of a two-and-a-half-year induction phase. One of many possible initial functions in the area of crime control would be, for example, the management of a criminal investigation department in the crime directorate of a district police authority. In the area of emergency response/deployment, the management of a command post would be conceivable.
